Man who killed woman in Saitama in 2020 gets 15 years in prison

The 60-year-old man was sentenced to 15 years in prison by the Saitama District Court for killing his 46-year-old wife in 2020.
He strangled her with a belt on July 1st, and the next morning tried to kill his teenage daughter in the same way. The girl managed to escape and ask the neighborhood for help.
Watabe fled but was arrested by police on 25 July.
