Quadra is the stage for multicultural events

The facilities that will undergo renovation have already been the stage for several multicultural events dedicated to the Brazilian community in the region. The futsal court is used not only by Brazilians, but by people of different nationalities who are interested in sports.

The campaign is being carried out by the READY FOR platform in Japan (https://readyfor.jp), aims to raise ¥3.000.000 for the partial renovation of the court's synthetic turf floor and is of the “All-or-nothing” type, that is, if the total amount is not reached, all money raised will be refunded.

Read the Nippaku Gakuen Educational Institute press release

Hello! We are Nippaku Gakuen, a school managed by the non-profit organization Centro Internacional de Desenvolvimento Técnico e Educacional de Oizumi and located in Oizumi (Gunma), one of the cities with the largest presence of Brazilian residents in all of Japan. Altogether, we have about 100 students enrolled in our school, which offers classes from kindergarten to high school. Our students are known as “Brazilians in Japan”.

At the moment, we need to renovate the lawn of our school's court, where futsal is also practiced. Originally built in 2007, in addition to being a space for leisure and sports, the court was also the stage for several multicultural events in the city. But, after more than 10 years of use, the coating has peeled off, the turf has worn away and part of the asphalt is exposed in several places.

The place that has played such an important role for so many years, where children can run around with enthusiasm and which also promotes and enables integration between Brazilians and Japanese needs your help.

We would like to take care of the renovation of the place ourselves, but the school has not received “miscellaneous school” approval from the Japanese government, and we have not received any financial support from the country or the local city hall. Student tuition is our only source of income. Therefore, we admit that we are unable to carry out this reform alone.
That's why we decided to ask, for the first time, for everyone's help to complete the renovation project through fundraising (crowdfunding).

By reviving our lawn, we also hope to strengthen ties between Japanese and Brazilians and continue to promote a future where we will increasingly understand our cultural differences positively.
We will continue to use the power of sports to create more opportunities for everyone.

We thank you in advance for your valuable support.
